The company's management acknowledges the importance of protecting the environment and takes action to drop the pollution level and to improve the quality of environment performances, according to the applicable environment legislation and directives.
The industrial waste that remains from the wood-working and furniture-manufacturing processes is used on the one hand for the production of the necessary heating energy for the heating of the buildings and plants at the company's headquarters, and in specially for the drying of wet wood. On the other hand, S.C. IRIS SERVICE CIUC S.A. produces and commercializes briquettes made out of sawdust, yearly delivering over 6250 tonne of this product.
